Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson take Eagles camaraderie to the next level in special moment larger than football
The two teammates are brothers on the gridiron, but their friendship has reached far past the field following latest heartfelt update. Eagles fans will appreciate the news.
The NFL reaches far past the football field. The latest example of precisely that involves two Philadelphia Eagles teammates who clearly share a strong friendship off the gridiron as well.
Jordan Mailata officiates Lane Johnson’s wedding
The tackle duo got to share a cool moment this past weekend when Jordan Mailata officiated Lane Johnson’s wedding. Johnson married fiancé Kelsey Holmer. The couple shared photos from the wedding, and the NFL posted about it as well on social media.
Holmer and Johnson got engaged nearly a year to the date before their wedding (April 2025). The couple went public with their relationship in 2022. Johnson was married to Chelsea Goodman prior to this relationship, and the couple had three kids together.

For Mailata, this was another way to build even more of a brotherhood with his long-time friend and teammate in Philly. Johnson helped mentor Mailata when he entered the NFL, and the offensive tackle combo has blossomed into one of the best duos in the league over the past handful of seasons.
The Eagles hope those two can stay healthy in 2026 and help lead a resurgence on offense.
We will also have to see if Howie Roseman addresses OT early in the 2026 NFL Draft. Plenty of mock drafts believe that Philadelphia may choose Johnson’s long-term replacement in the first round. Only time will tell.
