Five hidden gem draft prospects who can help the Los Angeles Rams reclaim their Super Bowl trophy in 2026
The Los Angeles Rams have routinely identified numerous strong prospects later on in the NFL Draft. Who are some potential targets for them this year?
The 2026 NFL Draft is finally here, and the Los Angeles Rams are hoping for another strong draft class brought to you by the McSnead duo. Their draft class could be the difference between a Lombardi this season or not.
If there’s one thing the Rams have been traditionally strong at, it’s been identifying strong options on Day 3 of the draft. Year after year, draft picks they take there seem to outperform their draft slots.
Who could their next option be in the 2026 draft?
Los Angeles Rams 2026 NFL Draft sleeper prospects
Nate Boerkircher, TE, Texas A&M
Opinions on Nate Boerkircher are varied, as some analysts have him as a top-ten (or higher) tight end, while other don’t. I have him in my top-ten due to his well-rounded game and upside as an in-line tight end.
Boerkircher didn’t get a ton of production in A&M’s…inconsistent at best passing offense, but he can threaten up the seams, adjust away from his frame, and is a strong hands catcher. For the Los Angeles Rams specifically, I love his blocking ability and versatility. He could be the successor to Colby Parkinson.
Mason Reiger, EDGE, Wisconsin
Sean McVay has repeatedly stated you can’t have enough pass rushers, and I think the Rams are going to add one at some point in the draft. If they decide to wait on one, I think Mason Reiger checks off a ton of their boxes.
His complicated medical history has caused his stock to fluctuate, but he’s a high-energy, explosive pass rusher. His character reports are stellar, and he dominated the East-West Shrine Bowl this season. Reiger would be a good addition to the Los Angeles Rams’ pass rush rotation as a designated pass rusher in subpackages.
Hezekiah Masses, CB, Cal
I suspect the Rams aren’t done adding at cornerback, even after adding Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson. They could use more options on the perimeter behind those two to compete with Emmanuel Forbes.
Masses is a tad smaller at 6’0, 180 pounds, but his competitive mentality, elite ball production, instincts, and fluidity are reminiscent of Rams’ standout Darious Williams.
Jordan van den Berg, DT, Georgia Tech
I’m not sure when exactly the Rams will take a defensive tackle, but I have a gut feeling they will take one at some point in the draft. I’d be really intrigued to see them take a swing on Day 3 with Georgia Tech’s Jordan van den Berg.
A former JUCO product who was late to football, he boasts some ridiculous movement skills and a strong power profile. Additionally, his character reports have been strong all offseason long.
Josh Cameron, WR, Baylor
I’d like the Los Angeles Rams to round out their wide receiver room by adding a strong height/weight/speed perimeter option to give them some vertical juice on offense, even if they take a wide receiver early in the draft.
I’m a huge fan of Baylor’s Josh Cameron to take that role. he’s a strong, physical outside wide receiver who excels in contested catch situations and generating yards after the catch.
Additionally, he’s an experienced and accomplished returner, blocker in the run game, and his character reports are glowing. Nothing says Los Angeles Ram more than that in his resume, in my opinion.
