The 2026 NFL Draft is finally upon us, and the New England Patriots are aiming for another strong rookie class like they enjoyed in 2025.

With a whopping 11 picks at their disposal, the Patriots have the ammunition to play the board across the draft. New England has had some strong success with some hidden sleeper draft prospects in recent years, particularly Craig Woodson last year.

Who could deliver a similar impact from the 2026 NFL Draft class?

Charles Demmings, CB, Stephen F. Austin

The Patriots love to take swings on Day 3 on strong athletic profiles, and Charles Demmings fits that profile to a T.

Demmings has the size and length to thrive on the perimeter and has incredible production, with over 30 career pass breakups. His athletic makeup and length make him an asset in man coverage, a perfect fit for the Patriots’ defense. I could see him being taken with one of their fourth-round selections.

Josh Cameron, WR, Baylor

Even if the New England Patriots are trading for A.J. Brown, I’d like for them to round out their wide receiver room after the way it finished the 2025 season. I really like Baylor’s Josh Cameron as a strong height/weight/speed option on the perimeter.

He’s being underrated in this draft process, in my opinion. Part of that is likely helmet scouting, as Baylor wide receivers have a bit of a stereotype. However, he’s a strong, physical outside wide receiver who excels in contested catch situations and generating yards after the catch.

Additionally, he’s an experienced and accomplished returner, blocker in the run game, and his character reports are glowing. All of these are traits I’m sure the Patriots will covet.

Jam Miller, RB, Alabama

The New England Patriots have their starting tandem at running back with Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson, but the rest of their running back room is a little iffy. Terrell Jennings, Lan Larison, and Elijah Mitchell are all vying for RB3 duties, and none have put forward a resume I’d be interested in.

If I were New England, I’d add some insurance here, especially with their emphasis on a more diverse rushing attack. Alabama’s Jam Miller feels like a Patriots’ running back with his physicality and strong fundamentals. He has the build to hold up in pass protection and he boasts extensive special teams experience. With that on top of his physical rushing style, he could lock up RB3 duties immediately for the Patriots.
