The 2026 NFL Draft is just hours away at this point, and still, we know very little about what the top of the draft will look like. In one of the more polarizing classes in recent memory, we could be in for a lot of volatility in Round 1, and throughout draft weekend.

In my talks with sources, the only uniform thing is that the 2026 NFL Draft could be one of the wilder ones in recent memory. Still, I have gathered last-minute intel from league sources and player representation on some of the biggest names and storylines in the draft, and I’m sharing it here.

The latest on Rueben Bain Jr.’s stock

What sources are saying: “Never labeled “character” before any of this. He was cleared of any wrongdoing, everyone knows about it, don’t overreact to his stock. If a team passes, it will be because of his measurables, not this report.”

How high could Jordyn Tyson go?

What sources are saying: “Giants at 5 is generating some real buzz. They want to help Jaxson Dart as much as they can, and look at Harbaugh’s resume, Bateman, Perriman, Hollywood Brown, all Round 1 guys.”

The latest on Jeremiyah Love

What sources are saying: “Cardinals would love to trade out, and are trying but if they can’t, Love should be the pick. Hard to see the Titans passing on him at 4 if he’s there though.”

Speaking of the Titans…

What sources are saying: “Would assume an EDGE like Bailey or Reese if Love is gone at 3. Saleh is the HC, and he loves EDGEs. I know he had Fred Warner, but look at where Warner was drafted.”

Kenyon Sadiq could go how high?

What sources are saying: “Carolina is probably the floor for him but could go as high as KC (N0. 9 overall) if everyone they want is off the board. Rams could also be a team to watch.”

Speaking of Kansas City…

What sources are saying: “One of the more interesting selections. Could see them trading up to 3 or staying at 9 if the EDGE they want is on the board, i.e., Rueben Bain Jr.”

What are the Browns thinking at 6?

What sources are saying: “Trying to trade back as well. Proctor is generating a lot of buzz too, but they would like to trade back if the right situation arises.”

Spencer Fano landing spot

What sources are saying: “Fano to Miami is a place to watch if he falls. Zach Tom, Jordan Morgan type. Can play guard in year one and then move him to tackle with the Austin Jackson situation.”

Ty Simpson’s mystery team?

What sources are saying: “Arizona would love to stay at 34 and take him, but it probably won’t happen. He’s likely going round 1, hard to pin down who outside of Arizona could be a sleeper team, but Cardinals late round 1 is where to watch.”

Latest on Jermod McCoy’s knee injury

“Could fall out of Round 1 entirely, but probably in the 20s or 30s if he does go Round 1. Maybe someone takes the swing but the knee is a real concern. A Will Johnson 2.0 situation.”
