Browns’ 2026 NFL Draft fits: Best players available for Cleveland to target on Day 2 of the draft
Day 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft and the smoke has settled. Day 2 will kickoff tonight and there are plenty of names left for the Cleveland Browns to target.
We’ve made it through the first 32 picks of the 2026 NFL Draft and two of those were made by the Cleveland Browns.
Cleveland fills its biggest needs in the first round by selecting OT Spencer Fano and WR KC Concepcion. The Browns made a trade back with the Kansas City Chiefs to add extra third and fifth round picks.
The Browns are scheduled to make three picks on Day 2 of the draft at No. 39 in the second round, then Nos. 70 and 74 in the third round.
Best options available for the Browns on Day 2 of the draft for the second round
S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren
The Browns are said to be high on the Toledo product and both of their current starting safeties are set to be free agents. EMW can do a bit of it all but he’s best at coming up to the line of scrimmage and making plays. McNeil-Warren would be a strong piece of the future of the Browns’ defense if they could get him at No. 39.
CB D’Angelo Ponds
Ponds’ size may limit him to being a nickel, but I think there’s certainly a possibility he can play on the outside. The Indiana product got it done at a high level this past season and would have been a first-round lock if he were two inches taller.
EDGE Zion Young
Young is a strong, physical pass rusher at 6-foot-5, 262 pounds. He looks like the first guy you want off the bus and he brings strong energy for his teammates to feed off of. Young has future starter written on him if he can round out his pass-rush approach.
CB Colton Hood
Hood was tabbed as a possible first-round pick who is still available in the second round. The Tennessee product took advantage of Jermod McCoy being out last season for the Vols and became the guy in Knoxville in the defensive backfield. We know Andrew Berry loves his cornerbacks.
G Chase Bisontis
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Browns go with a guard in the second round. Bisontis has a mean streak to him with the ability to be a mean run blocker on the interior. There’s no sure word on who the starting right guard will be and Bisontis could enter the chat there.
CB Brandon Cisse
Cisse is an explosive athlete with limited ball production coming out of college. The athletic profile includes a 41-inch vertical and a 10-foot-11 broad jump. Cisse is a cornerback prospect to watch.
G Emmanuel Pregnon
Another guard option for the Browns in the second round or potentially a move up in the third. Pregnon was a two-year starter at USC before finishing up at Oregon. Plenty of high-level experience and he’s a very capable run and pass blocker.
EDGE R Mason Thomas
Thomas is a speed rusher who is really still growing into his body and could stand to add more size. Still, he’s a very productive defender who makes a ton of plays. Thomas not having to start early in his career could be a blessing and the Browns could give him that.
Best options available for the Browns on Day 2 of the draft for the third round
EDGE Derrick Moore
Moore had 19 sacks over the last three seasons at Michigan led by 10 sacks in 2025. The Michigan product is a solid pass rusher and a minus run defender. An intriguing option in the third round with his steady production in the Big Ten.
EDGE Dani Dennis-Sutton
The Browns need a fourth EDGE still and turning to a former Penn State standout wouldn’t be a bad idea. Dennis-Sutton is a plus run defender as a base end but has limited room as a pass rusher. A good floor here and he’d fit in the third round.
TE Max Klare
The need for a second tight end is there and Klare can be a nice complement to Harold Fannin Jr. with his ability to play inline and move. A very good route runner who is going to get the ball a lot more than at the NFL level.
C Jake Slaughter
If the Browns want another possible starter center option Slaughter could be their guy. As it currently stands either Elgton Jenkins will be the starting center, or Luke Wypler will be able to step in. Slaughter would be a nice backup option.
S Treydan Stukes
Stukes has a strong draft profile led by a 4.33 yard FA’s and he’s a player who has been catching a lot of buzz late in the process. Stukes may go in the second round, but would become an easy target for the Browns if he’s there in the third. A player with strong ball production, but age isn’t on his side as sixth-year senio.
CB Davison Igbinosun
A physical corner who can get handsy at times but took a big step forward in cutting down the penalties in 2025. Igbinosun has played a ton of football between the SEC and the Big Ten. A high-energy player who can be a future starter on the outside if all goes well.
