NASHVILLE — Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi has been extremely active in this year’s NFL Draft. After trading away the 35th overall selection to trade back into Round 1 for Auburn defensive lineman Keldric Faulk, Tennessee traded back into Round 2 to take Texas linebacker Anthony Hill, Jr.

Head coach Robert Saleh gets an upgrade in the middle of his defense.

Titans take a “Robert Saleh type of guy”

Titans traded the 69th and 144th picks to the Chicago Bears for the 60th selection.

Hill, 21, started two and a half years for the Longhorns. A high-end athlete, Hill was also extremely effective as a rusher with 17 career sacks. A left hand injury limited him to only 10 games in his final college season.

Hill is listed at 6-3, 238 pounds.

“I thought his tape in 2025 was overall better than 2024,” said senior NFL Films analyst Greg Cosell. “I mean, he’s a sudden explosive athlete, okay? He’s got twitch to his movement. You see it immediately. He’s got really good size. He’s aggressive attacking downhill. But there were too many times I thought, and I know there’s disagreement on this.

“I’m just telling you what I saw on tape. I thought there were too many snaps where he was aggressive without any real calculation, like he just went. It didn’t seem like you spoke about, and the overused word, but it’s true in the case of Rodriguez, without any true instinct, he just went.”
