The Chicago Bears went offense heavy on Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft coming away with a new long-term future center in Logan Jones along with two new weapons for head coach Ben Johnson in tight end Sam Roush and wide receiver Zavion Thomas.

It’s far from what anyone expected this draft class to look like for the Bears and general manager Ryan Poles still has yet to address the most glaring need on the defensive front.

Fortunately, we still have three more rounds to go and currently four more selections for the Bears to work with on Day 3. Here are the top remaining prospects going into the final day of the draft.

Defensive End:

• Dani Dennis-Sutton – Penn State
• Joshua Josephs – Tennessee
• LT Overton – Alabama
• Mikail Kamara – Indiana
• Anthony Lucas – USC
• Nadame Tucker – Western Michigan

Fans have been begging for an edge rusher all weekend long. Poles noted this class was deep at the position and Day 3 will be his chance to prove that. Dani Dennis-Sutton stands out as an obvious fit as a Dennis Allen type and Mikail Kamara is one to watch after meeting with the Bears on a Top-30 visit.

Defensive Tackle:

• Gracen Halton – Oklahoma
• Kaleb Proctor – SE Louisiana
• Dontay Corleone – Cincinnati
• Landon Robinson – Navy
• Anterio Thompson – Washington

I still view DT as a bigger long-term need for Chicago compared to DE. The interior defensive line crop was absolutely gutted on Day 2 but my ideal option is still standing in Oklahoma’s Gracen Halton, who’s one of the more explosive DTs in the class. Anterio Thompson is a late-round or UDFA name to watch that also met with the Bears.

Cornerback:

• Keionte Scott – Miami
• Jermod McCoy – Tennessee
• Keith Abney II – Arizona State
• Devin Moore – Florida
• Charles Demmings – SF Austin
• Ephesians Prysock – Washington
• Jadon Canady – Oregon
• Malik Muhammad – Texas

I really like the cornerback group still left standing going into Day 3. It’s a sin that Keionte Scott headlines the group, this guy is a fierce play-maker and someone the Bears brought in. Jadon Canady and Malik Muhammad are other nickel/dime type players. Long-limbed outside cornerbacks include Devin Moore, Charles Demmings, and Ephesians Prysock. And eventually someone will just have to take the risk on Jermod McCoy, he’s way too talented to still be on the board.

Linebacker:

• Kyle Louis – Pittsburgh
• Harold Perkins Jr. – LSU
• Justin Jefferson – Alabama
• Jimmy Rolder – Michigan

After seeing how Day 2 went down, I wouldn’t be surprised by any selection. So, linebacker is very much back on the table if the Bears find the ideal speedster to add more competition to the position. These four names all bring the desired speed to the table.

Offensive Line:

• Logan Taylor – OG – Boston College
• Beau Stephens – OG – Iowa
• Jager Burton – IOL – Kentucky
• Travis Burke – OT – Memphis

After selecting a backup center, it’s time to consider other depth options on the offensive front. Jager Burton offers exciting guard/center flexibility similar to Luke Newman. If the Bears still want a rookie left tackle, it might be Travis Burke or bust at this point.
