2030 quarterback Marshall Manning, the son of Tennessee Vols legend Peyton Manning, is probably going to be one of the top football recruits in the nation in a couple of years.

Marshall already looks like an elite quarterback prospect, despite the fact he hasn’t played a high school football game yet.

The soon-to-be high school freshman looks like a young Peyton, albeit with more speed, in highlight clips that have been posted to social media.

There’s a misconception about Marshall Manning that needs to be cleared up

Marshall has grown up in Denver, but he transferred last year to Baylor School in Chattanooga.

A lot of folks are assuming that Marshall will be the starting quarterback this fall at Baylor School, but that’s not the case.

Instead, it’s 2027 four-star quarterback Keegan Croucher, an Ole Miss Rebels commit, who will be the starting quarterback at Baylor School.

Marshall will have the opportunity to earn the starting job as a sophomore (and it would be a surprise if he doesn’t). But anyone expecting to see Marshall starting this fall in Chattanooga should adjust their expectations (unless there’s an injury to Croucher).
