Liam Brown was signed as a UDFA by Cincinnati following the 2026 NFL Draft. Brown played four years of college football at Montana from 2022-25 following his redshirt year in 2021. He started seven games at right guard in 2022, played five more games at that spot in 2023 while also playing the majority of his snaps at left guard. He then spent time most of his time at LG in 2024 while also repping at center and left tackle.

Brown finally stayed in one spot for all of 2025, playing a career-high 923 snaps at LG. He finished seventh among FCS guards in Pro Football Focus’ Pass Blocking Efficiency stat (98.6). He was charged with two sacks on 516 pass blocking snaps.

Contract details

Brown signed a three-year, $3,105,000 deal with the Bengals as a college free agent. His base salary for 2026 is the minimum $885,000. He’s also getting $5,000 as a signing bonus. His cash figure for the year is $890,000, and his salary cap hit will be $886,666.

Roster outlook

Cincinnati didn’t need to add much to its offensive line this offseason after extending starters Orlando Brown Jr. and Dalton Risner. Brown comes in as one of five rookies, two of whom were drafted, joining the reserves behind an established starting five.

Eight of the 15 linemen in the room are listed as offensive tackles, making Brown one of only four guards on the roster right now. It’s not out of the question he can make himself valuable late in the offseason with a promising preseason.
