Bengals Player Profile: Noah Thomas rejoins several former teammates from multiple stops on college career
Noah Thomas became the 12th receiver on the Bengals’ roster after the 2026 NFL Draft. He’s undoubtedly a long shot, but could prove to be different than the other receivers with more experience.

Noah Thomas was signed as a UDFA by the Bengals following the 2026 NFL Draft. A Texas native, Thomas played his first three years of college football at Texas A&M from 2022-24. He started the final four games of his freshman season in 2022 before starting a combined 21 games in his sophomore and junior years. He posted career-highs in receptions (39), receiving yards (574), and receiving touchdowns (8) in 2024.
Thomas transferred to Georgia in 2025. He came off the bench for most of the year, recording 16 receptions for 254 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games (six starts).
Contract details
Thomas signed a three-year, $3,110,000 deal with the Bengals as a college free agent. His base salary for 2026 is the minimum $885,000. He’s also getting $10,000 as a signing bonus. His cash figure for the year is $895,000, and his salary cap hit will be $888,333.
Roster outlook
Any player who spent time at both Texas A&M and Georgia over the last four years is pretty familiar with players in Cincy’s locker room. Thomas has already played with McKinnley Jackson, Shemar Stewart, Cashius Howell, and most recently, Young. Thomas and Young gave the Bulldogs a pair of 6-5 wideouts to wreak havoc, but only Young is a lock to make this roster.
Now on his third team in as many years, Thomas has the benefit of being the only undrafted receiver signed to the roster this year. That number is usually three or four. There was only need for one because Young became the 11th WR on the roster after he was drafted in the fourth round. Thomas is No. 12 at a position that usually keeps six. He’s undoubtedly a long shot, but maybe brings something no one else already in the building has.
