Former San Francisco 49ers All-Pro Aldon Smith passes away at 36 years old
The All-Pro and Pro Bowler has died at the age of 36.
The San Francisco 49ers community is grieving the loss of 36-year-old Aldon Smith. Drafted by the 49ers in 2011, Smith immediately burst onto the scene, recording 14 sacks in his rookie season.
Smith would go on to earn first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl accolades during his second year in the league in 2012, where he recorded 19.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles across 16 games.
