Brian Parker II Player Profile

Age: 22
Year: Rookie
Position: Offensive tackle
College: Duke
Jersey Number: 62

Brian Parker II was selected with the No. 189 in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft by the Bengals. Parker spent four years in college, all at Duke (2022-25). After playing in two games as a freshman, he was tasked with starting at both left and right tackle throughout the 2023 season while also coming off the bench. It earned him the team’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He finally settled in as a full-time starter at RT in 2024 (sans one start at LT) and stayed there to finish his collegiate career. He was named Second Team All-ACC in both years.

Parker spent the majority of his childhood in Cincinnati and attended St. Xavier High School. He played center back then and was a top-five recruit at the position.

Contract details

Parker signed a four-year, $4,677,820 rookie contract with the Bengals. His base salary for 2026 is the minimum $885,000. He’s also getting $297,820 as a signing bonus. His cash figure for the year is $1,182,820, and his salary cap hit will be $959,455.

Roster outlook

Cincinnati had a pressing need entering the draft to add depth behind its offensive line. Cody Ford and Jalen Rivers were the top reserves in a group comprised of mostly undrafted talent. Parker was arguably the best player available when he was drafted, but he also brings versatility to back up multiple o-line spots immediately. Transitioning from center to tackle is no easy task, and he has the ideal frame of a guard as well.

Parker is the new Swiss Army Knife of the unit, and his first task may be to take reps as the second-string center while fellow rookie Connor Lew recovers from his torn ACL. Whatever his first role is, he is the first player on our countdown to be a lock for the roster.
