The summer is here, and that means the wildly popular EA Sports College Football video game series is gearing up for the release of its newest chapter in July.

And for the 2026 Tennessee Vols, well, there isn’t too much belief among EA Sports in many players on UT’s roster establishing themselves as one of the nation’s top players at their respective positions.

EA Sports released the top 10 lists for each position on Wednesday, and no Vols registered on defense or at any of the skill positions.

Tennessee did manage to place two players from their offensive line on the lists of their respective positions. Rising sophomore sensation David Sanders, Jr. checked in at No. 9 tackle with an 88 rating overall rating. Guard Wendell Moe, Jr. came in as the tenth-rated guard and a 90 overall rating.

That might surprise some with regard to Moe. The Vols’ rising senior transfer from Arizona was a solid starter along the interior of Tennessee’s offensive line last season in his first year in Knoxville. He allowed just one sack and nine pressures last year, according to Pro Football Focus.

Sanders is one that should be no surprise. The Vols’ sophomore tackle is one of the most promising young linemen in the country. The former five star missed Tennessee’s first four games with injury, but he hit the ground running his freshman season and held his own particularly well despite the delay getting on the field.

One might have thought we’d see one of the Vols’ talented young wide receiver duo on the list, particularly Braylon Staley. Staley was named the SEC Freshman of the Year by the coaches and AP last year. He posted 68 catches for 837 yards and six touchdowns last season.

EA Sports College Football 27 is scheduled to be released worldwide on July 9, 2026.
