The home stretch of the Philadelphia Eagles preseason is here. After this weekend, the Eagles, like 31 other teams, will enter the final cutdown window, narrowing their roster from 90 to 53.

We now have even more data to go along with storylines like Andy Dalton’s future with the team, some good news surrounding Makai Lemon, and winners and losers after Week 2 of the preseason, so let’s project what this roster will look like come Week 1 of the regular season.

Offense (26)

Quarterbacks (3)
In: Jalen Hurts, Tanner McKee, Cole Payton
Out / bubble: Andy Dalton (most common projection is trade or cut after weaker preseason play; some keep 4 temporarily or prefer Dalton’s experience).

McKee’s strong Patriots performance (high completion rate, TDs) swung many toward him as QB2. Payton (rookie) is protected as developmental.

Running backs (4)
In: Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby, Will Shipley, Carson Steele (as RB/FB hybrid after strong Patriots receiving/rushing showing)
Out / bubble: Dameon Pierce, Ja’Quinden Jackson (injury concerns).

Steele’s versatility and production make him a common 4th or fullback option over pure TE depth in some counts.

Wide receivers (6)
In: DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks, Makai Lemon, Hollywood Brown (Marquise Brown), Darius Cooper, Elijah Moore
Out / bubble: Britain Covey, Johnny Wilson (IR/waived with injury designation in recent moves), Quez Watkins, Danny Gray, Samori Toure, Erik Ezukanma, Brandon Hayes, others.

Smith/Wicks/Lemon are locks. Cooper’s blocking and production help; Brown’s guaranteed money and experience protect him. Moore vs. Covey (returns) could be the final decision.

Tight ends (3)
In: Dallas Goedert, Eli Stowers, Johnny Mundt
Out / bubble: Cameron Latu, Grant Calcaterra, Stone Smartt, E.J. Jenkins.

Goedert starter; Mundt valued for blocking in a run-oriented scheme; Stowers as the developmental receiving TE. Latu often competes with Steele for hybrid/FB-type value.

Offensive line (10)
In: Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Tyler Steen, Lane Johnson (starters); Markel Bell, Fred Johnson, Drew Kendall, Willie Lampkin, Micah Morris
Out / bubble: Jake Majors, Cameron Williams, Myles Hinton, Michael Jordan, John Ojukwu, Zeke Correll, others.

Starting five secure. Bell has impressed as a developmental tackle. Lampkin/Kendall provide interior flexibility. Depth is strong, but the 10th/11th spots are competitive.
