Packers at Vikings Week 1 Broadcast Map: NFC North clash with plenty of new faces to open the 2026 season
Green Bay travels to Minnesota for the first game of the 2026 regular season, and it’s a matchup with several things to learn.
Football is finally back, and it’s an unusual broadcasting company to kick things off. The Green Bay Packers travel to Minneapolis to play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. (CT) for Week 1 of the regular season at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Unlike most NFC matchups, this game will be on CBS. The matchup will have the top CBS team with play-by-player Jim Nantz, color analyst J.J. Watt, who’s replacing Tony Romo, and sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson.

CBS will have two separate windows on Sunday, so most of the country will be able to watch Packers-Vikings (red). The company also has Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Chargers (blue) on its late window.
For fans out of the local markets, the best way to watch the game will be using NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV. This option allows fans to watch all out of market games, while games in your local market will be blacked out. The game can also be streamed on Twitch or with an NFL+ subscription.
For fans outside of the United States, the game will be available with an NFL Gamepass subscription on DAZN.
Next week, the Packers play on the road against, against the New York Jets, and the game will be on Fox. The home opener is going to be in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. Because it’s a “Thursday Night Football,” that one will be on Prime Video.
