The Kansas City Chiefs have released their final injury report ahead of Week 7 against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Chiefs haven’t been at full strength on the offensive line all season, and in recent weeks the injury bug has also hit the wide receiver position. With RT Jaylon Moore (concussion) and WR Rashee Rice (hamstring) ruled out, that will remain the case in Week 7’s game on “Sunday Night Football.” That means more opportunities for players like WR Andrew Armstrong, OT Joshua Ezeudu, and even OT Diego Pounds.

Here’s a quick breakdown of each team’s Week 7 injury report, including game status designations. Keep in mind that clubs can add to the injury report through kickoff on Sunday night.

Observations

  • Brashard Smith suffered a hamstring injury on Thursday during practice. Andy Reid said that practice squad RB Jaydn Ott would be elevated to the 53-man roster in his place.
  • With Jaylon Moore ruled out, Joshua Ezeudu is in line for his first start in Kansas City.
  • With Rashee Rice ruled out, expect that Andrew Armstrong will be relied upon again in some capacity, whether activated to the 53-man roster via standard elevation or full promotion.
  • CB L’Jarius Sneed was listed as questionable last week and still played.
  • LB Cooper McDonald might not be activated from injured reserve to the 53-man roster. That’d leave Kansas City with only four linebackers on the 53-man roster. They could sign Cole Christiansen, but he’d be required to remain on the 53-man roster for three weeks. They could also elevate new practice squad LB Aiden Fisher, but he’s only been in Kansas City for three practices. The team waived LB Cam Jones earlier this week.
  • TE Travis Kelce carries no game status despite three consecutive limited practices.

KEY: DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related

Observations

  • Seahawks HC Mike McDonald says that RB Zach Charbonnet did not suffer a setback and that ruling him out was “part of the plan.”
  • Seahawks S Nick Emmanwori was added to the injury report Friday with a hip injury.
  • Seahawks starting OG Anthony Bradford carries no game status and should return to the starting lineup.
  • Linebacker remains a position where Seattle is very thin after ruling out Drake Thomas and Chazz Surratt. Expect practice squad elevations at that position.
