A 2026 four-star recruit who has been committed to the Tennessee Vols since last October wants an offer from the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Four-star wide receiver Tyreek King told 247Sports' Tom Loy this week that he'd love to receive offers from Ohio State and the Oregon Ducks.

King, who is from Knoxville, is solidly committed to Tennessee, but he's considering taking official visits to Missouri and Georgia this summer.

The 5-foot-11 wide receiver told Loy that he doesn't plan to shut down his recruitment until the start of his senior season of high school football.

King is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 11 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Tennessee.

Rivals.com national recruiting director Adam Gorney recently pointed out King as a player that could reach five-star status by the end of the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Additionally, King was recently among On3's biggest risers in the national media outlet's updated recruiting rankings.

From On3: "King is one of the better athletes at receiver in the 2026 cycle. We had a chance to see him in person at the Nashville Under Armour camp as well. And we just came away impressed with the twitch and the explosion. He has been a productive, borderline dominant receiver at the high school level. And seeing him against that competition helped us understand where he stacks up in the group of wideouts. He’s a really explosive receiver who can line up all over the formation, can win both deep and underneath. And he’s dangerous with the ball in his hands." — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

Ohio State is one of the top schools in the nation when it comes to putting wide receivers in the NFL. If the Buckeyes decide to offer King, it could certainly lead to some concern for Tennessee fans.

The Michigan Wolverines are showing interest in King, so if Ohio State gets involved, they could face competition from their top rival for the coveted recruit.
