In my opinion, Hall isn't being talked about enough heading into the Draft, despite having flashes on his tape that would rival guys like Will Anderson Jr. and Tyree Wilson. He has the speed and explosiveness off the edge to rival any tackle, but the main issue in his abilities is the fact that he doesn't have a huge variety of moves in his pass rushing arsenal. He basically won all his reps in college, by sheer power. He has trouble with hip fluidity, causing issues when he tries to bend around the corner, and eliminating a lot of the momentum that he built up in his initial launch off of the ball. To me, he projects as a guy that can be useful in stunts and twists, and as a power rusher only.

Strengths:

– First Step: Hall has an explosive first step off the line

– Size: Hall has a solid frame, and long arms allowing for aggressive pass-rush moves

– Horsepower: Hall is known for being able to convert his speed into power, knocking blockers off their balance

– High Motor: Hall has closing burst to chase runners to the sideline and he can slide/shuffle step when reading a play

Weaknesses:

– One-Trick Pony: Hall lacks counters/secondary moves and needs to broaden up his pass-rushing arsenal before playing in the NFL

– Stiff Hips: Hall's stiff hips make it difficult for him to turn the corner on speed-rushes

– Power: Hall is strong, but his overall power might not be overwhelming enough to win with it alone in the NFL

– Underdeveloped: Hall was a highly touted recruit coming out of HS, and his development over the course of his college career was a bit underwhelming
