Former Tennessee Titans wide receiver AJ Brown isn’t the most popular man in Nashville these days, but that could be changing in the near future thanks to a recent update about his football camp that’s scheduled for this summer.

Shortly after Brown was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, he caught some grief on social media because he pulled out as the host of his camp.

On Tuesday, Brown tweeted that he’s working on getting Titans superstar running back Derrick Henry to host the camp.

Brown has since deleted the tweet (in typical AJ Brown fashion).

This was really just a tough situation for Brown. It would’ve been awkward to show up in Nashville in June after the way the trade went down (Brown not communicating with the Titans, demanding 80 million in guaranteed money, etc). But at the same time, there were a lot of kids planning to attend that just wanted to see Brown, regardless of where he played.

The fact that he’s working to get Henry to host the camp shows us that Brown truly cares about doing things with his camp in Nashville the right way. It also shows us that he still has a good relationship with his former teammates.

By the way, Brown is still running a camp this summer, it’ll just be in his home state of Mississippi.
