The king has returned.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry hit the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since his injury in week eight.
Henry, despite missing the last eight games, is sixth in the NFL in rushing yards with 937.
Suffice it to say, Titans fans are excited to get Henry back for the team’s playoff run.
One of those fans is former Tennessee Vols basketball star Ron Slay.
Slay, a co-host on 3HL on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville, had an epic reaction to Henry’s return on Wednesday.
Check it out.
Nearly two minutes of pure excitement from Slay.
I’m sure every Titans fan in the country feels the exact same as Slay about Henry’s return to the field.
Henry is the best running back in the NFL. Getting him back in time for the playoffs has to make the Titans — who can lock up the No. 1 seed in the AFC this weekend with a win over the Houston Texans — one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl.
