The Tennessee Vols are one of the eight teams still in the mix to land 2023 four-star offensive lineman Logan Reichert.
Reichert revealed his top eight schools on Thursday and he included Tennessee, along with Arkansas, LSU, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Oregon.
Reichert, 6-foot-7/345 lbs from Kansas City, MO, is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 21 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 8 player in the state of Missouri.
This could be a really nice addition for the Vols if they manage to win this recruiting battle. Reichert already has SEC size. But despite his 345 lb frame, he moves very athletically. The fact he also plays basketball likely helps.
I would bet that Reichert will end up at guard at the next level.
The Vols can use some size in the trenches and Reichert would be a great fit in Josh Heupel’s offense, thanks to that size and ability to move around.
Tennessee currently has nine players committed to its 2023 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 7 in the nation.
