The former Vols standout has remained involved in the sport since his retirement by working in a variety of roles, which includes his newest role — NFL agent.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Friday morning that WME Sports has hired McClendon as an agent in their coaches and executives division.
After retiring in 2016, McClendon was hired as the Los Angeles Rams' Director of Football Affairs in 2017.
In addition to his role with the Rams, McClendon also serves on the Knight Commission.
The Knight Commission's purpose is "to develop, promote and lead transformational change that prioritizes the education, health, safety and success of college athletes".
McClendon played at Tennessee from 2006 to 2009. He started all 13 games at right guard for the Vols in 2009. He was also Academic All-SEC for his final three seasons at Tennessee.
The former Vol has certainly found plenty of success since leaving UT in 2009. Between a lengthy NFL career and an extremely productive post-NFL career, McClendon has represented the Power T as well as anyone.
