Friday was a busy day for the Tennessee Vols.
On Friday afternoon, the Vols received a notice of allegations from the NCAA. You can read all about that here (they weren’t hit with a lack of institutional control penalty, which is great news for UT).
Shortly after that news dropped, the Vols received some good recruiting news.
Three-star wide receiver Nathan Leacock announced his commitment to Tennessee.

Leacock, 6-foot-3/200 lbs from Raleigh, NC, is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 77 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 19 player in the state of North Carolina.
The North Carolina native is a similar player to current Vols wide receiver Cedric Tillman. He’s dynamic, big, and fast. And he plays with a high level of energy. Leacock is essentially a perfect fit in Josh Heupel’s offense. And he could take over the role in UT’s offense that Tillman has excelled in.
Tennessee now has 19 players committed to its 2023 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 7 in the nation.
