The Tennessee Vols currently have the No. 31 recruiting class in the nation, but that could be changing in the near future.

Tennessee will likely add some key recruits to their 2022 recruiting class before the early signing period in December.

One of those recruits could be three-star running back Justin Williams.

Williams committed to West Virginia in July, but he decommitted from the Mountainers on Wednesday evening.

Williams’ decision to decommit comes just a couple of days after taking an unofficial visit to Tennessee for the Vols’ matchup against Georgia.

The Georgia native recently spoke to VolQuest about his visit to UT and he made it clear that he likes the trajectory that Tennessee is on under Josh Heupel.

“Just how close Tennessee is to being a really good team,” said Williams when asked about his biggest takeaway from his visit to Rocky Top.

“They are just a few pieces away. They are going to skyrocket in the next year or two.”

Williams, 6-foot/205 lbs, is ranked in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 32 running back in the country and the No. 34 player in Georgia.
