2025 four-star quarterback Madden Iamaleava, the younger brother of Tennessee Vols true freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava, received an offer this week from a former UT assistant coach.

The younger Iamaleava tweeted on Sunday that he received an offer from South Florida, a program that's led by former Vols offensive coordinator Alex Golesh.

(Golesh took over at USF ahead of the 2023 season.)

Madden Iamaleava, 6-foot-3/185 lbs from Downey, CA, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 12 quarterback in the nation and the No. 24 player in the state of California.

Madden has an offer from Tennessee and he's obviously very familiar with the Vols as he made numerous visits to Rocky Top during Nico's recruitment.

For now, though, it appears that 2025 five-star quarterback George MacIntyre is higher on Tennessee's recruiting board. Alabama is also a major player for MacIntyre. If the Vols miss on MacIntyre (and I'm not suggesting they will, the Vols are doing a good job with that recruitment), they could turn their focus to Madden.
