The Tennessee Vols will look to move to 5-0 on Saturday night when they take on the Arkansas Razorbacks in Fayetteville.

Tennessee is coming off a bye week after a hard-fought road win against the Oklahoma Sooners.

Arkansas, meanwhile, is coming off a tough loss to the Texas A&M Aggies.

Ahead of Tennessee's matchup against Arkansas, there's been a narrative that this could be a "trap game" for the Volunteers.

Tennessee, after all, is coming off that big win against Oklahoma and they have a couple of big rivalry games coming up later this month (against Florida on October 12 and against Alabama on October 19).

The feeling is that the Vols might not be properly focused on Arkansas with the games against the Gators and the Crimson Tide looming.

Tennessee senior offensive lineman Cooper Mays isn't buying that narrative.

Mays joined Off the Hook Sports this week and he was asked about the possibility of the game against the Razorbacks being a "trap game" for the Vols.

"We're playing Arkansas, that's about the only game I know [this week]", said Mays. "I don't know what a trap game is."

"They're an SEC football team," continued Mays. "They're very talented. And they're going to be a really good test for us. Definitely nobody is displaying like that (trap game) to us, that's for sure."

Trap games are a real thing. We see teams in college football get tripped up all the time against lesser opponents.

This Tennessee team, however, truly seems focused on going 1-0 each week. They're taking the season a game at a time and not thinking about what's next.

There's no way Josh Heupel's squad is taking Arkansas lightly. That doesn't mean that the game will be easy for Tennessee — road games in the SEC are rarely easy. But I feel confident that Vols fans will see a focused and determined Tennessee team in Fayetteville on Saturday night.
