One of the biggest concerns for quarterback Nico Iamaleava and the Tennessee Vols in 2025 centers around the offensive line.
The Vols are set to lose at least three starting offensive linemen after the 2024 season (that number could be four if guard Andrej Karic isn't awarded an additional year of eligibility).
Tennessee helped ease some of those concerns on Wednesday by reportedly landing Arizona transfer offensive lineman Wendell Moe.
Moe, who is from Long Beach, CA (the same hometown as Iamaleava), is a former three-star recruit who made 27 starts at left guard during his time at Arizona. Moe was the Wildcats' highest graded pass blocker in 2024 (87.0) according to Pro Football Focus.
If Karic returns in 2024, Moe could slide over to right guard where he would be replacing Javontez Spraggins. If Karic's appeal for an additional season of eligibility is denied, then Moe could immediately slot in at left guard for Tennessee.
Either way, landing an experienced offensive lineman like Moe is a huge (and important) get for the Vols.
Tennessee still needs to find a starting center for the 2025 season.
