Former Tennessee Vols head coach Butch Jones hasn't learned much in the five years since he was fired at UT.

Jones was known for mind-numbing clichés and rambling nonsense during his time at Tennessee.

And absolutely nothing has changed now that Jones is the head coach at Arkansas State.

Jones is still spouting off rubbish to reporters. The latest example is Jones telling the media that he showed his Arkansas State team a video of NBA superstar Stephen Curry, the greatest three-point shooter of all time, hitting a three-point shot in a game.

The point from Jones was that Curry practices a lot to be that good.

I can't imagine a locker room full of athletes who have likely been playing (and practicing) sports since they were kids were surprised to learn that Curry practices shooting threes.

Jones followed that up with a comment about players being responsible for their own self-determination (which is pretty much the definition of self-determination).

Check it out:

I don't think there's a coach in college football that has less self-awareness than Jones. He'd be better suited to be a motivational speaker instead of a football coach.

Fortunately for the Vols, he's not their problem anymore.
