The New York Giants got it done – barely. With less than five minutes to go in their window to sign Daniel Jones, they agreed to terms with the quarterback on a four-year deal.

It was their biggest off-season decision to make this year. Jones was asking for commitment from a team, and the Giants had to be willing to show their faith in him as their starter for the future.

New York did exactly that with a massive extension for the improving QB.

The deal is worth $160 million with $35 million more in incentives. Jones truly got paid, and now, the pressure is on he and the Giants to compete for a Super Bowl.

Clearly, New York's front office and coaching staff have faith in Jones after his clear improvement this past season.

In the first two years, Jones will earn $82 million.

The Giants have their franchise quarterback – or at least, they believe they do. It will be interesting to see how it all unfolds in New York.
