Miscues on offense was the theme of the Baltimore Ravens’ 17-10 road defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5.

A week after they orchestrated an efficient showing on offense in their road win over the Cleveland Browns, the Ravens failed to put together an encore performance against the Steelers. Even as Lamar Jackson and company logged a 5.0 yards per play average, the unit stringed together a mere two scoring drives in the contest.

Drops also marred the Ravens' performance on offense against Pittsburgh. The Ravens tallied a total of seven drops on Sunday, which is more than they had through their first four games of the year (five).

For one, Ravens wideout Nelson Agholor had quite a golden opportunity to complete a 44-yard touchdown catch in the third quarter.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is hopeful that his team’s drops woes on Sunday will not grow into a reoccurring issue.

“I’m not surprised by anything in the NFL, in football," Harbaugh said during his postgame press conference. "It’s just the way it goes, and we keep working on that. I know we’ll make those plays going forward.

"Those are balls that our guys are going to catch; they catch them all the time."

Baltimore now sits in second place in the AFC North standings with a 3-2 record.
