The Baltimore Ravens capped off their regular season schedule with a 17-10 home defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Ravens did not have much to go their way against the Steelers. Baltimore turned the ball over twice on the day, and the Tyler Huntley-led Ravens offense notched a lowly 3.9 yards per play average.
Since the Ravens clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, they will have a bye week coming up and will open up their postseason run by hosting a playoff game in the AFC divisional round. The Ravens will not be off on their bye week, as head coach John Harbaugh plans to schedule four practice sessions for his squad.
"Our plan is to practice Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday," Harbaugh said on Saturday. "We’ll organize those practices in the next few days. It’ll be preparation for the postseason, and that will be what we’ll do. We’ll try to push it back a little bit to have some sort of a rhythm as if we’re playing a game, say on Saturday, kind of that idea.
"Then we’ll have our normal game week going into the divisional game."
Michael Pierce revealed on Saturday that one of the Ravens' upcoming four practices will be a "stadium practice." Pierce added that the Ravens want to be "more mindful of not coming out slow," and "mindful [of] what happened last time." The veteran defensive tackle was referring to Baltimore’s 28-12 loss to the Tennessee Titans in the AFC divisional round four years ago.
Baltimore finished with a 13-4 record in regular season play this year.
