What. A. Turnaround.
The Buffalo Bills were all but dead in the water after a heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12, but now, they're sitting pretty as the AFC's No. 2 seed after winning their fourth straight division title on Sunday night.
Buffalo won its last five games and beat the division rival Miami Dolphins to close out the season in impressive fashion. One really has to credit Sean McDermott and the players for rising from the ashes and taking care of business.
Now, it's all about the postseason and what comes next. On Saturday, it'll be the never-say-die Pittsburgh Steelers visiting Highmark Stadium, but what comes after that? If the Bills win, of course?
Let's take a hypothetical stroll and see what the Bills' most likeliest path to Las Vegas will be over the next three weeks.
Wild Card Round: Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have rebounded in a big way, themselves, after disastrous losses to the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals. Mike Tomlin kept the ship afloat, as usual, but third-stringer Mason Rudolph is giving the team the best quarterback play it's seen all year long, which has also been a tremendous boost.
You never, ever count Tomlin out of a game. And this matchup won't be an easy one, at all. But as long as Buffalo doesn't turn the ball over and doesn't get off to a slow start, they should win this game.

Divisional Round: Kansas City Chiefs
Did we really think the Bills would get through the postseason without having to face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs?
The difference here, obviously, is this will be Mahomes' first road playoff game and we all know Bills Mafia will be at full throat for this one. The Chiefs are nowhere near the team the NFL has been used to seeing since 2018, but Steve Spagnuolo's defense has really stepped it up in 2023.
Still, the Chiefs are a very beatable team and the Bills match up well with them. How fitting would it be for Allen and co. to finally get over the KC hump on the way to their first Super Bowl?
AFC Championship: at Baltimore Ravens
Lord, I'm tired just by typing out these teams. Talk about a helluva gauntlet to get through in order to get to Vegas.
But hey, nothing awesome comes easy in this life, right?
The Ravens would undoubtedly be a huge test. Especially at home, where they've made multiple good teams look like scrubs.
The key with this matchup is the Bills have the pass rushers, along with the ground game, to shorten Lamar Jackson's opportunities. The Bills offense cannot get off to a slow start in this game, either. Because the Ravens are that good to where a lackadaisical beginning can quickly lead to a blowout. Josh Allen will also need to be on point and not make the silly mistakes we saw against the Dolphins.
Super Bowl LVII: San Francisco 49ers
Let's be real: A Bills-9ers Super Bowl would be a fantastic matchup.
Not only are both teams extremely fun to watch, but the storyline of a top-7 pick in Allen going up against Mr. Irrelevant in Brock Purdy would be so much fun to dive into and discuss. Both players come from completely different backgrounds and have made their hay in the NFL in completely different ways, yet both will try to win their first championship as starters for their respective teams.
Two tough defenses, two fun offenses, and two very good quarterbacks – what else could you ask for in a championship matchup?

Allen said it best several weeks ago when he told reporters the Bills play their best football with their backs against the wall. Things aren't as drastic, now, as they were, then, but Allen and co. have to keep that mindset moving forward.
Because if they do, there's an excellent chance this team is hoisting the Lombardi in mid-February.
