The Buffalo Bills are coming off a thrilling comeback victory over the Baltimore Ravens in which Josh Allen had more than 400 yards of total offense, earning him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors. It was the 16th time, a franchise record, for Allen in earning the award. All eyes are set on a divisional matchup between the New York Jets and the Bills in Week 2 of the regular season.

The last matchup between the two teams saw Buffalo come out victorious with a 40-14 victory in with Allen winding up sitting late in the contest. The franchise QB finished his day with 182 yards passing with two touchdowns through the air and added one on the ground for good measure. Receiver Tyrell Shavers caught his only pass of the season during the game and took it all the way for a touchdown.

Throughout his career, Allen has a 9-4 record against the Jets. It was a season sweep in 2024, with Buffalo winning both of their contests. Divisional matchups are never easy, and the Jets shouldn’t be overlooked in the matchup. Ahead of the contest, 506 Sports released its broadcast maps showing where around the country you’ll be able to tune in and watch the game.

The Bills will be shown on CBS this week, one of seven games on the network in Week 2 of the NFL regular season. Buffalo will be competing with the Rams, Titans, Patriots, Dolphins, Browns, Ravens, Jaguars and Bengals in terms of coverage. It’s clear from the map that Buffalo is getting a huge chunk of coverage across the country. Let’s just call it the Josh Allen effect.

Bills vs. Jets broadcast crew

The Bills and Jets contest has been assigned the CBS broadcast crew of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson. Nantz, for those who remember, had the legendary call on Allen’s fourth-quarter rushing touchdown against the Chiefs during the regular season.

One of Allen’s early career highlights against the Vikings, in which he hurdled Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr, Romo and Nantz were there with a heck of a call for that play.

All that’s left to do is play some football.
