With Bryce Young looking to bounce back in his sophomore season, the Carolina Panthers are looking at bolstering the offensive line.
That is why it completely makes sense that the franchise reportedly held a visit with Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson, according to Bleacher Report's Ryan Fowler.
Powers-Johnson also met with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears.
At 6-foot-3, 328 pounds, Powers-Johnson is one of the highest-rated offensive line prospects in the draft.
NFL scouts view him as a powerful run-blocker, which the Panthers could be looking for in the 2024 season.
Where he struggles is in pass blocking. However, that can be developed at the NFL level. What will make all the difference is if the Panthers are willing to be patient and let him develop.
he is viewed in NFL circles as a year-one starter and late first-round, early second-round talent. The Panthers could realistically land him with the early second-round pick.
