Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan is not done putting together his coaching staff for the Tennessee Titans. Callahan's latest hire will directly impact his former team.

Per NFL Media's Tom Pelissero, Callahan and the Titans are hiring Bengals assistant special teams coordinator Colt Anderson to be their own special teams coordinator.

Originally hired by the Bengals back in 2020, Anderson was a core special teams player for the majority of his nine-year (2009-17) playing career as a safety for four different clubs. He spent the 2019 season coaching high school football in his home state of Montana before spending the last four seasons assisting long-time special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons in Cincinnati.

Anderson's departure will have the Bengals replacing their thid assistant of this year's hiring cycle, with the first two being Callahan and safeties/secondary coach Robert Livingson. The Bengals have added two new coaches to their offensive staff in offensive pass game coordinator, Justin Rascati, and offensive assistant, Jordan Salkin.

Cincinnati also promoted Dan Pitcher to offensive coordinator, Brad Kragthorpe to quarterbacks coach, Fredi Knighten to assistant quarterbacks coach, and Jordan Kovacs to safeties/secondary coach.

Callahan has also hired former Baltimore Ravens secondary coach Dennard Wilson to be his defensive coordinator and former Cleveland Browns offensive line coach Bill Callahan (his father) to work the same job under him.

The Bengals were safe from getting poached until now. They'll be looking for a new assistant to work with Simmons as he enters his 22nd season with the club.
