3 Cleveland Browns’ 2026 NFL Draft fits who are potential hidden gems waiting to be drafted in the later rounds

There’s plenty of talk around who the Browns could be drafting early. Early in the week I want to talk about a few names Cleveland could be drafting on Day 3.

It’s draft week for the NFL and it’s a very important few days ahead for the Cleveland Browns. A to Z Sports will keep you up to date with all of the Browns draft coverage this week all the way up through what undrafted free agents will be added.

A full 7-round mock draft has already been released, and now I want to profile a few Day 3 players the Browns could be looking to draft this week. While they may not be household names, they very well could end up playing above their future draft slot.

OT Markel Bell

Cleveland needs at least one offensive tackle who can start from this draft and they’re likely to take one in the first round. The Browns very well could double back for a second offensive tackle later in the draft, and they’ve already done their homework on Bell with a predraft visit.

Bell started 16 games for Miami this past season and is a solid pass blocker at 6-foot-9 and 346 pounds. The large offensive tackle has trouble with speed rushers at times, but he does use his length to his advantage. Would not be surprised at all if the Browns take Bell. It’s notable he’s only been a left tackle between junior college and Miami.

TE Marlin Klein

A Michigan tight end shouldn’t be a sleeper or hidden gem, but I’ll put him here due to only getting one season to be the guy for Michigan. Klein was forced to sit behind Coleston Loveland, who was a first-round pick of the Chicago Bears. Klein was a strong tight end in a bad passing attack for Michigan in 2025. The German native went for 24 catches, 248 receiving yards, and one touchdown.

Cleveland could use a second option to Harold Fannin Jr. and Klein could grow into the role. The Browns may end up taking a Day 2 tight end, but Klein is more of a fourth-round target. A capable blocker who can play inline and still wins by finding pockets in the defense to settle into. Klein isn’t the most crisp route runner and needs work there. His best football is ahead of him and with little starting history, he should be a solid rotational player after he gets his feet under him in the NFL.

DT Landon Robinson

Cleveland doesn’t need to add a defensive tackle before Day 3 of the draft with Maliek Collins, Mason Graham, and Michael Hall Jr. as the top three options in the room. The Browns could look to target the Northeast Ohio native, whom the team has already shown some interest in during the draft process.

Robinson is undersized at 5-foot-11, 293 pounds, but he’s disruptive at the point of attack, and it’s a difference maker. The Navy product is strong and quick off the line and it gives interior offensive linemen real fits. An intriguing option later in the draft.
