The Denver Broncos are set up to reclaim the AFC West division title as well as they have been since winning their last back in 2015. No need to beat around the bush, let's jump right into their 2025 schedule:

Biggest games on Broncos' 2025 schedule

  • Broncos vs. Chiefs (Week 11 and 17): Sure, Denver beat K.C. in Week 18 of the 2024 season, but the Chiefs rested their starters and were just going through the motions. The Broncos lost a heartbreaker to K.C. in Week 10 due to a blocked field goal. Denver needs to prove themselves against the top dog of the AFC West.
  • Broncos at Eagles (Week 5): A road game against the defending Super Bowl champions? It doesn't get much bigger, or tougher, than that. A win, or even a hard fought loss, would tell us a lot about where the Broncos stand in the pecking order of the NFL.
  • Broncos vs. Titans (Week 1): Week 1 can be tricky, and is usually full of upsets. If Denver is going to make a run at the AFC West title, it can't afford letdown losses at home. Preparing for the unknown in rookie Titans quarterback Cam Ward could be challenging.

Primetime matchups with viewing/streaming info

The Broncos have a total of four primetime games in 2025:

  • Week 4 vs. Bengals, Monday Night Football: Access to ESPN or ESPN+ is required to watch this game. That can be obtained through cable, satellite, and/or streaming services.
  • Week 10 vs. Raiders, Thursday Night Football: You will have to have an Amazon Prime Video account in order to stream this game. Some local channels will still broadcast the game, but that's not a guarantee.
  • Week 13 vs. Commanders, Sunday Night Football: Access to NBC or Peacock is required to watch this game.
  • Week 17 vs. Chiefs, Thursday Night Football: As in the case with Denver's Week 10 TNF matchup against the Raiders, you will need an Amazon Prime Video account.

Strength of schedule (based off Vegas win totals, not 2024 record

Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis ranks teams' strength of schedule based on Juice (Vegas' projected win totals for the upcoming season). This year, Sharp has the Broncos' SOS at 14th, which means they've actually got the 19th-toughest schedule in the NFL this season. Despite that, they're projected to win only 9.5 games this year, which definitely seems too low.

Revenge games on Broncos' 2025 schedule

  • Broncos vs. Chargers (Weeks 3 and 18): Denver was swept by L.A. in 2024, losing by seven points each time. That would ultimately cost the Broncos second place in the AFC West
  • Broncos vs. Bengals (Week 4): Denver fell short in one of the most memorable games of the 2024 season as Cincinnati scored a walk-off touchdown late in overtime for the victory.

5 must-watch matchups

  • Broncos' defense vs. Bengals' offense: Both of these units could be ranked atop the NFL throughout the 2025 season. It will be strength vs. strength when they square off in Week 4, and it will be fascinating to see how it plays out.
  • Bo Nix vs. Jayden Daniels: These two quarterbacks will be forever linked after being selected in the top 10 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Daniels had the better rookie year, but the gap between him and Nix really isn't that big. Can Nix leapfrog him in 2025?
  • Evan Engram vs. Jaguars' defense: The veteran tight end will play his former team in a game that could have playoff implications. Engram will no doubt want to show the Jaguars that he is still one of the top players at his position after they released him from his contract early.
  • Broncos' defense vs. Russell Wilson: The marriage between Denver and Wilson was a disaster, and Wilson will want to be playing at his best against his former team. It would not be a great look for the Broncos if he were to beat them.
  • Sean Payton vs. Andy Reid: These are two of the best head coaches in the league who are each heading heading for the Hall of Fame one day. Payton is 7-3 against Reid in his career, and could add to his legacy if he and the Broncos end K.C.'s run of nine straight division titles.
