Just one more day left in the 2026 NFL Draft, and the Detroit Lions have six draft picks they can use to stick or trade up to grab one of these guys that should not still be here in the draft. That’s exactly what we’re going to do to start this mock.

Trade up with the Bills

The Lions shoot to the top of the fourth round, and it didn’t cost them an arm and a leg to do it. Just their fourth round pick and their seventh round pick.

Lions get: 101st pick
Bills get: 118th and 222nd picks

101st pick: Kyle Louis, LB, Pittsburgh

Oh my God, NFL teams. Just get over it. Yes, he’s undersized at linebacker, but this guy has shown that he can cover, stop the run, pass rush, and flick the hit stick. Does it really matter that he’s a little bit smaller? The Lions, whose front office all wore shorts with height, weight, and speed crossed off during last year’s draft, are just the perfect team for this guy. Go grab him before someone comes to their senses or tries to make him a safety.

157th pick: Caden Curry, Edge, Ohio State

James Houston, part two, but this time the Lions can get it right by just leaning into what this guy is good at. Ge’s good at pass rushing. So just trot him out there on third down and let him win.

181st pick: Andre Fuller, CB, Toledo

One of the best run-stopping cornerbacks in this entire draft. He brings some versatility. The Lions can make him a slot corner, or they can have him be a part of the outside rotation. The Lions might feel like they don’t need a cornerback at this time, but Fuller is just one more versatile piece worth having around.

205th pick: Dallen Bentley, TE, Utah

Bentley is an interesting one. A really athletic player who is able to catch passes and block. The thing is, he could go anywhere from the fourth round to the sixth round. The Lions get him here in the sixth, and it feels like a steal.

213th pick: Sawyer Robertson, QB, Baylor

The Lions take a flier on a young quarterback who has some upside, but needs some time to cook on the bench. The Lions have a plethora of former NFL quarterbacks and quarterback coaches on their staff. They can work together to maximize Robertson’s potential.
