The Detroit Lions will host their first playoff game at Ford Field this Sunday and it's expected to be a raucous atmosphere and it could, and should, be the loudest Ford Field has ever been before. The Lions defense knows that fans are going to be super loud while the Rams are on offense, but they have a request as to when Lions fans are loud.

"Definitely be a little rowdy than than the regular season. Preferably, this is my personal request, is to get loud as the quarterback is getting in the huddle as opposed to after he breaks in the huddle so that's my request but outside of that just be really rowdy."

That's coming from Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone and it makes a ton of sense. The noise from the crowd will affect the Rams in the huddle and could cause miscommunication on their part. It can also help the Lions defense when they're out there trying to communicate with each other.

Being loud after the huddle is broken is a good thing too because it causes the possibility that the count is not heard and a delay of game or false start could happen. Ideally fans are just loud during every Rams offensive possession and that the noise never lets up.

My personal preference for fans on Sunday is that they are as loud as they've ever been when the defense is on the field and then so quiet that you can hear the toilets flush in the bathrooms out in the hallways while the Lions are on offense. That's not just my preference, the Lions would probably appreciate it too.
