Saturday is one of college football's biggest days. It's rivalry week and there is no rivalry bigger than Michigan vs Ohio State. There's slated to be a solid amount of players from both teams that are going available in the 2024 NFL Draft. That's why the Lions have scouts at the game.

While there are many teams at the game, the Lions are among the handful of teams that have multiple representatives on the ground for this one.

It makes a lot of sense when you realize that both teams have players in positions that are going to be strong needs for the Lions in April. Ohio State's edge J. T. Tuimolau and Michigan's defensive lineman Kris Jenkins have to be near the top of the list for the Lions. Both should also be available near the back end of the first round where the Lions are expected to be picking.

Some other players that the Lions might have their eyes on are Ohio State cornerback Denzel Burke, Michigan safety Rod Moore, Ohio State receiver Emeka Egbuka and Michigan guard Zak Zinter.

The Lions may also have scouts at the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn on Saturday as well. No word on that yet.

Update

One of the reps at the game was none other than Lions GM Brad Holmes.
