It’s finally draft week. After months of discussing prospects and needs for the Green Bay Packers, this final Packers seven-round mock draft brings a little bit of everything: Defensive front early, offensive weapons and cornerbacks in the middle, and some good developmental value late.

For this exercise, we also included some undrafted free agent options. We made all that utilizing A to Z Sports’ draft simulator.

Second round, Pick 52: Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, UCF

The Packers usually prefer heavier edges, but Lawrence’s upside as a pass rusher is hard to find in the second round. The odd fronts will be back with force in Green Bay under Jonathan Gannon, so adding another bender to the mix makes sense — especially because they already have Lukas Van Ness as that heavy player who can move inside on passing downs.

Third round, Pick 84: Gracen Halton, DT, Oklahoma

Impressive athlete with deadly first-step burst at 6-3, 293 pounds. Effective on stunts and twists. Short arms and lack of ideal length limit upside. Snap-to-snap consistency questioned. The Packers need short- and long-term answers at the positions, and Halton offers a flexibility to both generate pressure and stop the run, which the team badly needs.

Fourth round, Pick 120: Brian Parker, OL, Duke

Brian Parker II is 6-5, 305 pounds. Throughout his four college seasons at Duke, he played mostly as a right tackle (1,811 offensive snaps), but also some left tackle (311). In the NFL, some analysts project him to move inside. Based on the Packers’ history, you can see the fit with this type of prospect. Generally, Green Bay prioritizes college tackles to cross-train them. It’s easy to compare him to Zach Tom as a prospect.

Fifth round, Pick 153: De’Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss

Not in terms of quality, but it’s easy to see some DK Metcalf traits in Stribling’s game because of his size and how he can operate with a limited route tree. The 120th prospect on the consensus board, he had his best season in 2024 at Oklahoma State before transferring to Ole Miss. After trading Dontayvion Wicks, the Packers have space to add another receiver to the room.

Fifth round, Pick 160: Thaddeus Dixon, CB, North Carolina

Dixon was up and down as a tackler throughout his college career. He transferred to North Carolina under Bill Belichick this past season, and the alignment versatility is a calling card. He can play inside and outside, and even being frequently used as a blitzer. He had 19 pass breakups over three college seasons — the first two ones at Washington.

Sixth round, Pick 201: Kaelon Black, RB, Indiana

Black won a National Championship this past season at Indiana, and he has good vision and explosiveness. He wasn’t targeted much in college, despite some potential to improve in that area. As a solid pass protector, he is an ideal backup for Josh Jacobs to play situationally.

Seventh round, Pick 236: Bryson Eason, DT, Tennessee

Another athletic defensive lineman, Eason is a strong run defender. The Packers need depth, so it’s ok to take multiple players at the same position in this case. Last season for the Vols, he generated 13 pressures and had nine stops.

Seventh round, Pick 255: Diego Pounds, T, Ole Miss

Pounds improved as a pass protector through his college career and is a strong, physical player. He has to become better at run blocking to establish himself as a consistent NFL player, but the value is there in the seventh round to take a swing.
