Can Jordan Love and co. rebound from Thursday's practice?
Love and the Packers offense won the day on Wednesday, even if it reports state it wasn't by much. Still, that's an impressive feat on Day 1 of joint practice against the Patriots.
Thursday was much different, however. Turnovers, dropped passes, and other mental mistakes defined most of the offense's day, which in turn handed the Patriots a victory.
With nearly two days to prepare for Saturday night, will Love and co. break the tie?
Can the Packers defensive line continue to perform against a questionable Patriots offensive line?
If there is one obvious Patriots weakness, it's the offensive line. The unit has been marred by injury and inconsistency throughout training camp and the Packers were able to take advantage of that during the week.
Can the unit put in the work when the lights come on, though? Kenny Clark is back, although it remains to be seen if he plays (doubt it). Either way, there are plenty of young playmakers on the Packers defensive line and they should be able to make some noise.
4 Players to watch (that aren't Jordan Love and Anders Carlson)
- WR Grant DuBose: The rookie wideout has been turning heads since he got on the practice field. Will see his first game action of the preseason and how does he perform, if so?
- T Rasheed Walker: I'd be shocked to see David Bakhtiari play in this game and Walker has ran with the 1s in his absence this past week. Matt LaFleur is adamant that Walker earned the opportunity, so whether he's with the 1s, 2s, or 3s on Saturday – he's worth watching, regardless.
- S Anthony Johnson Jr.: Another seventh-round rookie playing well in a crowded room, can Johnson Jr. build on his strong showing against the Cincinnati Bengals?
- LB Isaiah McDuffie: De'Vondre Campbell is nursing an ankle injury, so McDuffie is getting a great opportunity to run with 1s. Will he take advantage of it?
