The Houston Texans made a ton of offseason moves in free agency and by way of trade that pretty much dominated the headlines. However, they also drafted well, too, and that won't get talked about a ton because they didn't have a first-round pick.

But their class has the potential to be pretty good. Kamari Lassiter, the young cornerback from Georgia, can be a real game changer later down the road, and of course, there are a few others, too that can make some type of impact.

But, there is one guy the Texans drafted to add as a depth piece that hasn't gotten much shine. Jawhar Jordan, the running back out of Louisville that the Texans got in the sixth round, is turning some head early in training camp.

“Jawhar Jordan is a good player," Texans' new running back Joe Mixon said at training camp earlier this week. "He’s been taking everything in the best he can."

The Texans traded for Joe Mixon from the Cincinnati Bengals because they wanted to add to the run game, an area of last year's team that was terrible. With Dameon Pierce now the backup, really, that third option is up for debate.

The Texans needed depth so they drafted Jordan, who was a really good player at Louisville. For him to be drafted in the sixth round and to be getting the attention and praise he is getting is great, because even if you're drafted, you're not guaranteed a 53-man roster spot.

Jordan has been working his butt off at Texans training camp.
