Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson's shoulder injury forced him to miss the majority of his rookie season in the NFL. He is set to return as the team's starter in 2024.
Now that he's healthy it looks like Richardson has his eyes set on something else as well.
After his injury, Richardson missed out on more than just the majority of his rookie season. He also missed out on the NBA All-Star weekend in Indianapolis, where we saw multiple NFL players, such as C.J. Stroud and Micah Parsons, take part in the celebrity game.
Richardson has made it clear that his next favorite sport is basketball after football. And if I had to guess, it's because it allows him to display his elite athleticism fully. We even saw his ability on a basketball court grab headlines this offseason. With him throwing it down
So after having to miss out on the celebrity game during the NBA All-Star weekend in Indianapolis, he is now looking toward 2025 when the event is in "The Bay," aka San Francisco, California, which is nicknamed "The Bay Area" If Richardson is able to remain healthy, I'd be shocked if an athlete of his nature and status doesn't get an invite to participate during the NBA's All-Star Weekend celebrity game. And honestly I think he would have to be one of the favorites to walk away as the MVP of the game.
