The Kansas City Chiefs have released an updated version of their depth chart ahead of the Week 8 game against the Denver Broncos.

Keep in mind that these depth charts are considered "unofficial" because they're assembled by the team's PR staff and not directly compiled by the coaching staff. The accuracy during the regular season tends to be better because they're based on in-game and practice observations. At the very least, these accurately reflect the latest roster changes.

With a few new roster moves in recent weeks, the latest depth chart update actually has some changes in all phases of the game.

The most notable roster moves reflected on the depth chart this week:

  • Mecole Hardman is listed behind Skyy Moore on the depth chart and ahead of Justyn Ross. Montrell Washington (now on Chiefs' practice squad) was previously behind Justyn Ross.
  • Hardman is also listed as both the starting punt and kick returner (a role previously held by Washington as a Week 5).
  • Charles Omenihu now slots in at DE behind Mike Danna and ahead of Malik Herring. That makes sense given the inactives list on Sunday
  • Nick Bolton is expected to be placed on injured reserve with his wrist dislocation injury. He hasn't landed on the list yet, so he is still reflected on this week's depth chart.
