This is the time of the year when teams get to have fun with their schedule release. The NFL picks a date to release the full schedule, even though we all have it before that date due to leaks and such. This is where the social media teams of each franchise really get to shine, and man, this time the Kansas City Chiefs’ did.

Last year’s video wasn’t as good as others. It was decent, but certainly could have been better. This year was amazing. Super fan and actor Rob Riggle starred in the video, where he and his co-host, “Gayle,” played a former couple on a 90s shopping show. The two sold products that matched up with each opponent, and had snarky remarks towards one another.

It was hilarious, but you might have missed the phone number at the bottom. Yes, that was a real phone number, and yes, we called it to test it out. Here is a very possible option when you call the number on the Chiefs’ video.

Press No. 1 and win signed merch?

Riggle reads the menu when you call and lists the options. When you hit No. 1, you will hear Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother, talk about a chance at winning merchandise signed by players. She then says to leave your name and your email at the voicemail tone. Of course, then you get the tone and an option to record something the Chiefs will hopefully hear.

Press No. 2 to hear from members of the Chiefs

When you press the No. 2, you will hear a very familiar voice to start. Andy Reid comes on and does his “How bout those Chiefs” chant. Then, wide receiver Xavier Worthy comes on to say a few nice things. And, this may seem like nothing, but it’s certainly something. They took the time to make this Easter egg, which probably no other team has.

Press No. 3 to hear Rob Riggle do something… cool?

If you press the third option, you will hear Rob Riggle play his Harmonica to the QVChiefs theme song. Before pressing the button, you will hear him say he’s going to do it, then “Gayle” telling him to stop, and that no one wants to hear it. So, maybe you should click it to prove her wrong?

The Chiefs really went above and beyond this time. Was it the best one? Maybe. But it was certainly the most interactive.
