The New Orleans Saints just barely missed the playoffs in 2022, and that was with the horrible record they had. Somehow, the division was so bad that the Saints at 7-10, almost made the playoffs.

They were two wins away from making it. Would they have done anything? Probably not. But, it still would have been cool to see a home playoff game in a year we all knew this team wouldn't be the best.

Even with a season as weird as the one we just witnessed, as the Saints were more up and down than any team, there were still some good moments.

New Orleans just had a few players participate in the Pro Bowl over the weekend, in which it was fun to see the guys back after a few weeks of no football from them at all. The new games and format made it easier to watch, and the Saints players definitely helped too.

But, while they were there, one of them made a comment that we love to see from Saints players.

Cameron Jordan, the Saints' star defensive end, called out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, making the weekend a bit juicier.

"Well this time he was able to say it, with so many leaks and stuff he wasn't able to," Jordan said of Tom Brady retiring. "Let the man retire. We salute him, we salute him and wish him the best, just whatever that next endeavor is. We are glad he is out of the division. Tampa Bay will probably go back to where Tampa Bay has been."

The Saints and Buccaneers hate each other. But, Jordan is right. The year before Brady they didn't even make the playoffs. Then with him this last year they barely did. Getting rid of him will only help the Saints' chances of making it now.
