2024 has been a bad year for the New York Jets. They did get a win over the Jaguars on Sunday and that's cool, but the season is over and they won't be going to the playoff and there is a major reset on the horizon. Still, they do lead the league in something. The problem is that this isn't what you want to lead the league in.
No team has paid more in fines than the Jets this year. They've been fined so much that 90% of people reading this right now would love to have their fine amount as a yearly salary.

That is a ton of money. You'll be somewhat happy to know that $45,020.00 of that comes from one fine that Quincy Williams had for an unnecessary roughness (use of the helmet) penalty he got called for in the Jets' Week 7 loss to the Steelers.
Still, the Jets are high up there in terms of how many times they;'ve been fined too.

So there you go. That's one more thing for the Jets to clean up. They need to be more disciplined with whoever takes over as their new head coach in 2025.
