Getting a win in the NFL is all that matters when a weekend is over. For the Philadelphia Eagles, they finally found a dominant way to get that done in order to end a three-game losing skid during Week 15. They defeated the Las Vegas Raiders, 31-0, in a game where both sides of the football fired on all cylinders for Philly.

Eagles win game where A.J. Brown finds end zone

As simple as it may sound, it is a notable development that Philly was able to secure a win in a game where A.J. Brown scored a touchdown. Brown had been consistently producing in the last three games, but they were all losses for the Eagles. In fact, this is the first game over the last four that Brown did not total 6+ receptions and 100+ yards.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was understandable fired up after he found A.J. Brown to truly lock away the win over Vegas. There was little doubt they would hold on, but that score truly just set it completely out of reach for the Raiders to come back. Over Brown’s last four games, he has totaled four touchdowns on 95.8 yards per game.

Brown’s frustrations, at times, have been well-documented and discussed all season long. It’s been tense when production hasn’t come his way, but at the same time, the Eagles were winning a bulk of those games. That’s where this victory, even against a lackluster opponent, is meaningful.

Philadelphia can look to this game as a melding of Brown’s production and getting another in the win column. Sometimes, it is truly that simple. Let’s see if they can build on it going forward and clinch the NFC East title in the coming weeks.
