The Tennessee Titans are in a season of change. The hunt for a new head coach has dominated the beginning of their year. But now that Robert Saleh has been hired and a staff is built out under him, another massive change is on the horizon.

Sources have shared with A to Z Sports new details on the Titans’ redesigned logo and jerseys for the 2026 season.

New details on Titans’ brand redesign

Sources confirm that a leaked logo design from fanatics.com is one of the Titans’ newly redesigned marks.

Friday evening, a single merchandise listing on the Fanatics website seemed to accidentally reveal the redesigned Titans logo. This plush football item with a flame-less Titans seal, red outline, redesigned “T”, and light blue center was taken off the website swiftly. But the mistake wasn’t corrected before the internet got their hands on it first.

One of the biggest changes the Titans are making with their big 2026 redesign is moving away from the theme of Greek Mythology. This means no more sword imagery on the shoulder pads or the stripe down the middle of the helmet, for example.

This brand overhaul centers around an even stronger embrace of the “Titans blue” primary color than before, reminiscent of the “Luv Ya Blue” Oilers era. Their new uniforms will reflect this, per sources.

“Titans blue”—Tennessee’s light blue—will be the primary color of the new home jerseys. The away jerseys will be white. The Titans are also expected to lean harder into red accents. And a helmet color change is coming too, moving away from navy blue.

Word of new jerseys and a redesigned logo was first reported by FanDuel content creator Zach Cohen on social media. Speculation and excitement has only grown around the topic in the weeks since the 2025 Titans season concluded, and the change was telegraphed by unusual discounts at nflshop.com on almost everything with Titans branding. The only other team with this kind of discount is the Falcons, who have already teased their new uniforms.

The only wink or nod of any kind out of Titans headquarters so far came in tennesseetitans.com writer Jim Wyatt’s recent mailbag article. He responded to a question about upcoming redesigns with “it’s not something I can comment on at the moment…”

Why the Titans are making these changes now

This is all leading up to a palate cleansing that culminates in the unveiling of their new stadium in 2027. All of the theming in and around New Nissan Stadium will be this new branding, and as the stadium gets its finishing touches this year, the new brand will get broken in.

All of this coincides with the NFL’s new Rivalry Uniforms program, which debuted with the AFC East and NFC West in 2025. These jerseys are worn once during a division rivalry game the season they’re unveiled, and then added to the team’s alternates rotation for three more years. The AFC South and NFC North are up next in 2026, so the Titans will get a second brand new uniform to wear this year too.

The Titans first adopted their current primary logo—often lovingly referred to as the “flaming thumbtack”—for the 1999 season when they officially rebranded from the Tennessee Oilers to the Tennessee Titans. And their current jerseys have been in place since a 2018 redesign.

The team announced in March 2025 they were changing the primary uniform designation from their dark blue to their light blue. It was billed as a return to the “Titans blue” their Nashville roots are based in. So light blue was made the new home uniform, with white for the road, and the dark blue relegated to “alternate”.

Another part of that Spring press release mentioned the team’s desire to be “more consistent” with jersey combinations in 2025, and were they ever; the dark blue alternates never saw the field in 2025.

It seems the vaulting of Tennessee’s Oilers throwback jerseys—which were immensely popular during their brief run in 2023 and 2024—was another element of this plan to unify the brand around the popular light blue primary color and red accents set to be released for the upcoming season.
